COVID-19 (Coronavirus):
How we can work together to stay healthy.
The health and safety of our communities and police officers is my top priority. With that in mind, Deal Police is taking additional steps to be extra vigilant amid growing concerns around Coronavirus.
Steps you should take to protect yourself and your family:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Stay home when you are sick.
Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water is not available, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath please stay home and seek immediate medical attention in order to determine the cause of your illness.
People who think they may have been exposed to COVID-19 should contact their healthcare provider immediately.
