*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Investigators Responded to the Shooting Death of a Man, 15400blk Lefloss Av, #Norwalk
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing to investigate the shooting death of a male Hispanic. The incident was reported Monday, March 9, 2020, at approximately 4:18 a.m., near 15400 block of Lefloss Avenue, Norwalk.
Norwalk deputies responded to shots fired in the area. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the alley behind the location.
The victim, a male Hispanic in his 30’s, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have learned the victim heard a noise outside his residence, went outside to the alley to investigate and was shot. The suspect(s) fled on foot in an unknown direction.
At this time, it appears the shooting is gang related.
