Meet William and Sherri – both had been homeless for 5 years. 
That was until they met District Command Sgt. Tommie Clayton back in November and he referred them to the Hayward Navigation Center. And, in just three weeks, the non-profit that helps with services for those without a home found William and Sherri a place to live in Stockton.
William and Sherri say they’re grateful for Sgt. Clayton. We’re grateful to them for being a wonderful example of a fresh start that we hope others in need can soon realize.
