COVID-19 and other infectious disease tips for prevention:
- Wash your hands or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water isn't available.
- Avoid close contact with anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your mouth and nose with your arm or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Per the CDC those with underlying health conditions such as lung disease , diabetes, heart disease or weakened immune systems are at higher risk of contracting COVID-19 and should avoid large crowds where there could be people carrying the virus.
