* At 656 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area beginning to train. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Storms will move over the same areas for the next several hours and produce another 1 to 2 inches. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Poplar Bluff, Dexter, Bernie, Bloomfield, Naylor, Neelyville, Essex, Qulin, Fisk, Dudley, Hendrickson, Brush Arbor, Harviell, Milltown, Oxly, Fairdealing, Baker, Penermon and Rombauer.
