Deputies arrest Jack Ray Scales of San Bernardino for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of burglary tools

SUSPECT(S): Jack Ray Scales, age a resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, March 12, 2020, at approximately 7:50 a.m., deputies assigned to the Highland Police Department were dispatched to the area of Baseline Street and Boulder Avenue regarding a stolen Honda Passport. Deputies Kassis and Camacho located the vehicle in a parking lot at 7347 Boulder Avenue. The vehicle was occupied by Jack Scales (driver) and Lizette Ramirez (passenger). Both Scales and Ramirez were detained without incident.
Scales was found to be on probation for Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and had a No Bail felony arrest warrant for GTA. Scales was arrested for the warrant and new charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Possession of Burglary Tools. He was booked at the Central Detention Center and will appear in San Bernardino Superior Court on March 16, 2020, to be arrained for the new criminal charges. Ramirez was released on scene at the conclusion of the investigation.
