Meridian Police Ask the Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop
 
On March 12, 2020 at 10:15pm officers pulled over a silver Nissan Altima at S. Meridian Road and W. Overland Road for non-working taillights. During the stop a Meridian Police officer made contact with the male driver aged 20-30 with a tattoo on his left cheek. The vehicle was also occupied by a female passenger. While speaking with the driver, he fled the stop driving westbound on I-84 reaching speeds of 115 mph. The officer cancelled the pursuit for safety reasons.
