Dear Parents and Guardians-
The Governor has taken official action to close all public school districts in the state beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020 with an anticipated re-opening date of Monday, April 6, 2020.
However, our schools will be closed effective Monday, March 16 with an anticipated re-opening date of Monday, April 6, 2020. This is due to additional local information we have recently been made aware of.
ALL before and after school activities are also cancelled during this time.
Additional details will be communicated as they become available.
Parents will be provided information regarding accessing their child(ren)'s educational materials on or before Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from the specific school(s) your child(ren) attend. We will maintain this approach until the order is lifted and school is cleared to resume.
There will be NO educational expectations during the week of our regularly scheduled spring break- March 23 through March 27.
Please contact your child(ren)'s school office(s) directly if you have issues with internet connectivity so we can begin to develop plans to best meet your child(ren)'s needs.
Again, additional details will be forthcoming from both the District and your child(ren)'s school(s). We recognize the burden this puts on families and will do our best to work with each and every family during this time to ensure that your child(ren)'s educational needs are met.
