Winter Storm Warning until 05:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 18 inches above 7000 feet, mainly in Sequoia National Park. Otherwise, amounts of 8 to 15 inches are expected from 4000 to 7000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph over exposed ridgetops and along the crest.

* WHERE...Southern Sierra Nevada south of Kings Canyon.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Monday to 5 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds may cause tree damage. Travel will be extremely difficult or nearly impossible. If you plan to travel, consider alternate strategies..
