In the interest of public health and safety, this message is to inform you that North Caldwell has an individual who is a confirmed Coronavirus case. The Mayor is working closely with the Board of Health. The contact history investigation has shown that there have been very limited contacts with our residents and we are currently following-up with them.

As the cases in NJ continue to grow it's most important that we continue to following all CDC guidelines and practice social distancing.

We understand that information has been out on social media for several hours however until we get official word from the Board of Health we can not make an official statement.

This information received today only reinforces the fact that we need to take this situation seriously and work on a local level to reduce exposure to our neighbors. 

We will release information as soon as we can, we are all in this together and we need to be patient and understanding as we all coni tune to learn and grow from this experience.
