Due to the Covid-19 and the evolving situation and risk of exposure to the public, our officers, and our staff the following protective measures are being temporarily put into place.
Effective immediately The Township of Waterford will be closing its municipal building until further notice. All the offices are still open to conduct daily business but building access is closed to the public.

The Waterford Township Police Department will be encouraging all residents, visitors, and businesses to report all non-emergency complaints via email or phone. These include but are not limited to lost property, identity theft, bicycle theft, etc…

If you come to the police department the front door in the vestibule will remain open and you can contact police dispatch by pressing the button on the wall. An officer will greet you to take your complaint. Please advise dispatch if you have been suffering from symptoms related to the coronavirus.
Chief Cormaney wants to assure the community that these are measures of prevention. We will still answer emergent calls with the same high level of professionalism as in the past. These measures are being taken as extra precaution for public safety, our officers, and the safety of our staff.
As you know this is an ever changing situation, so we ask you to be patient and stayed informed. We will continue to push information out on via social media.
