Effective 3/17 Milltown Municipal Bldg will close to the public. Garbage collection and other services will continue
As a result of new emerging recommendations regarding assembly from the CDC, effective March 17th, the Milltown Municipal Building will be closed to the public. This does not mean that municipal operations will cease. Municipal staff will be available by phone and email. Please visit our website www.milltownnj.org for office extensions and email addresses. All online services will continue to be available including tax/utility pay and traffic ticket pay. DPW operations such as garbage collection will also continue as scheduled.
The Milltown Police Department is requiring citizens who would like to file a police report, to call the police station instead of coming in. If you need to file a report, you can contact our communications staff at 732-828-1100, provide the details of your complaint, and a police officer will call you back.
The Milltown Police Department is committed to our community and will always be available 24 hours a day. As always, if you have a life-threatening emergency to report, please dial 9-1-1.
Restrictions will be lifted as soon as we feel it is safe to do so.
