POLICE REDUCE LOBBY HOURS AT PD
HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – March 16, 2020 - The Hollister Police Department will reduce the open hours of the Police Department lobby and cancel non-essential meetings. Hollister Animal Care and Services lobby will remain closed.
The Hollister Police Department is aware of the need to reduce the spread of the COVID-9 virus but is cognizant of the need to balance our closure to allow our community to access the services they require.
The Hollister Police Department, in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 to front office staff, will be reducing the hours that are open to the public, cancelling non-essential meetings and cancelling Livescans.
Starting tomorrow the front lobby of the police department will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. However, Livescans require very close contact between our staff and members of the public and they will be canceled until further notice.
Persons needing to retrieve property will also have to make an appointment.
Anyone with questions or to make an appointment is asked to call 636-4330 ext. 0.
The Hollister Animal Shelter Lobby will remain closed to the public. Person’s wishing to see pets available for adoption are asked to go to the Petharbor website and to call to make an appointment for adoptions or to retireve lost pets.
