Closure of buildings to the Public
Mayor and Council had their regular meeting on March 16, 2020 in conjunction with Tuckerton Emergency Management and the Borough Police Department to review both President Trump and Governor Murphy's Declarations of a Medical State of Emergency due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the following actions are to be immediately implemented:
Borough Public Buildings shall be closed to the public effective March 17, 2020 until further notice in order to protect our residents and our employees.
All departments will be available to assist the residents by phone, fax, email, US Mail or the drop box that is in the rear of the Borough Complex.
Regular services such as garbage, recycling and water/sewer will operate as normal. However; the yard will not be open to the public ONLY curbside pick-up will be available.
For Police, Fire and medical emergencies call 911.
Information concerning zoning and building permits and any licensing questions can be obtained by calling Borough Hall 609-296-4916 . Those wishing to drop off any permits or applications may use the mail box located at the back of the Borough Hall at 420 East Main Street
The South Green Street Park will also be closed at this time to the public effective immediately.
