The first positive case of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) has now been identified in Warren County. The 56-year-old male, from Mansfield Township, was treated at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Here is the latest information. 
At the Local Level in Knowlton: 

• Tunnel Field playground is closed to the public due to the virus's ability to reside on plastic playground equipment for several days.  Residents may still use the walking track while being mindful of CDC guidance not to gather in groups. 
• We encourage residents to support local businesses during this difficult period.  The following Knowlton restaurants are offering curbside pickup and delivery.  Visit their Facebook pages for current menus and call them to order at the numbers below:

In the Route 80 interchange, restaurants are offering pickup or drivethrough only:

At the County Level: 
Warren County government offices are closed to the public effective today, but County offices will continue to conduct business via telephone and email. The county landfill will remain operational.

 In addition to the guidelines already circulated, the County is advising  residents to stock up on food and medication.  Be sure to have at least two weeks of household items and groceries on hand so that you will be prepared to stay home for an extended period of time.
