DUE TO THE UNPRECEDENTED CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE OUTBREAK OF THE COVID – 19 PANDEMIC AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE SAFETY OF OUR RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES, WE HAVE HAD TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:


COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP OFFICES ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, FOR IN PERSON VISITS.

WE WILL BE PROVIDING SERVICES BY PHONE, EMAIL OR FAX DURING THIS TIME. TOWNSHIP OFFICES WILL BE STAFFED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL, AND IF NECESSARY, IN VERY LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES, SCHEDULING AN IN-PERSON MEETING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

PAYMENTS BY CHECK CAN BE LEFT IN THE DROP BOX AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY, WHICH WILL BE CHECKED AND SANITIZED SEVERAL TIMES DAILY. WE WILL SEND A RECEIPT TO THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO LEAVE THEIR PAYMENTS IN THE DROP BOX.


• During this time, if residents choose to make their payment via credit card to avoid leaving their home, we will issue a credit on their sewer billing for the amount of the processing fee, ($3.00) beginning with payments made on March 17th – March 30th. Please remember, they can also make their payments, with a checking or savings account online as well, with no charge to them.

EMERGENCY SERVICES CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS DURING THIS TIME.

THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICES WILL CONTINUE TO STAY OPEN AND POLICE OFFICERS WILL BE CONTINUE TO TAKE CALLS FOR SERVICE.

The safety of our residents, community and staff members is of utmost importance to us. Until further notice we feel these are changes that need to be made in our day-to-day operations, to protect our community during this current situation, while still providing necessary administrative services to the public.
