COVID-19 Modifications
CBPD COVID-19 Modifications
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cornwall Borough Police Department is taking the following steps to continue providing service and protect our officers and staff.
Effective immediately, the police department lobby will be closed. Anyone needing to conduct business with the department of a non-emergency nature is asked to do by telephone or email.
Anyone coming to the police station during normal business hours will need to call 717-274-2071 in order to request access.
Be assured that the police department continues to provide 24 hour service and will respond to all calls of an emergency nature and such other calls where a response is necessary. The department has entered into a Mutual Aid Agreement with all other police agencies in Lebanon County, coordinated through the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office, to assure the continuity of police service should officers in any department contract the virus.
All routine and non-emergency calls that do not require an officer to respond will be handled by telephone. Examples of these are traffic complaints, telephone and email scams, and ordinance violations.
In any emergency situation, a caller should dial 911. The number for the County Control Center (police dispatch) is 717-272-2054
Please call the department at 717-274-2071 if you have any questions.
