Center for Disease Control (CDC) Scams 
It has come to my attention that scams are being conducted by persons claiming to be from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) stating they are testing for the COVID-19 Virus. None of these scams have been reported in New Castle, but please be advised no person from the Center of Disease Control or any other agency will show up at your home for testing for the COVID-19 Virus.
In the event someone comes to your home claiming to be from the Center for Disease Control or if you are unsure of anyone’s identity call the New Castle Police Department at 914-238-4422.
It is unfortunate that persons will resort to such activity during this difficult time. Please be alert and stay healthy.
