As of March 19, 2020, the County of Los Angeles Health Officer issued a “Safer at Home” public health order to control the spread of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County.  This order temporarily prohibits events and gatherings of 10 persons for more, requires the closing of indoor malls, shopping centers, playgrounds and non-essential businesses.  This order applies within the County of Los Angeles Public Health Jurisdiction. 
 
The order begins tonight at 11:59 p.m. and will continue through April 19, 2020.
 
The order does not prohibit individuals or families from outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, shopping at Essential Businesses, including grocery stores and restaurants offering delivery, drive thru or carry out service, so long as all persons practice social distancing to the extent practicable.
