Wisconsin Dells Mayor Ed Wojnicz has issued an Emergency Declaration for the City of Wisconsin Dells. This further invokes emergency actions that can be taken during this pandemic. City of Wisconsin Dells Staff are working diligently to meet the needs of our community in light of the disruption and uncertainty over COVID-19. The following actions are being taken at this time to protect the health and welfare of our citizen and staff:
MUNICIPAL BUILDING
The Wisconsin Dells Municipal Building will be closed to the public starting March 20th, except for voter registration and in-person absentee voting as this is required per State Statute. Voters are strongly encouraged to go to myvote.wi.gov to request a ballot by mail instead of voting in-person. City staff will remain working and will be available by telephone at (608) 254-2012 and by email for any questions. Utility payments can be mailed or put in the secure outside drop box by the front entrance. Credit card payments can be made on-line at citywd.org . Questions regarding utility bills can be directed to (608) 253-2542.
MUNICIPAL COURT
Municipal Court sessions have been canceled until further notice. Payments can be put in the secure drop box at the Municipal Building. Credit card payments can be made on-line at www.citywd.org. Questions can directed to the Court Clerk at (608) 254-2442.
POLICE STATION/PARKING UTILITY
Alternate side parking enforcement is canceled.
Parking meter enforcement delay until May 1st.
DMV transactions in the lobby have been canceled.
KILBOURN PUBLIC LIBRARY & COMMUNITY CENTER
The Library and Community Center are closed to the public until further notice. Please visit dellslibrary.org or call (608) 254-2146 for more information or questions.
PARKS & RECREATION
All Park & Rec programs are canceled until further notice. Please practice social distancing in public parks and recreational areas.
PUBLIC WORKS AND WATER & LIGHT UTILITY SHOP BUILDINGS
Closed to the public.
CITY GOVERNMENT MEETINGS
All non-essential city committee meetings are canceled. Essential meetings will occur as needed. A telephone number will be provided on agendas for audio participation.

- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- If you do not have soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Cough or sneeze into an elbow if no tissue is available. Wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a disinfectant cleaning spray or wipe.
- Practice social distancing.
