Olive Avenue Street Maintenance Project - Lane Restrictions 
On March 19, 2020, the City of Peoria Streets Division and its contractors will begin a rehabilitation/preservation project on Olive Avenue, from 75th Avenue to 87th Avenue. This project will include milling/removing the damaged asphalt surface, repairing the base, and then applying micro seal to restore a smooth driving surface. Construction will be completed by June 30, 2020.
During this time, please observe the following:
• Olive Avenue will have alternating east and westbound lane restrictions during construction; however, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Left turns will be restricted throughout the work-zone. Plan alternate routes and allow for extra travel time.
• Please observe all signs and barricades, and pay attention to flaggers and police officers in the area.
• Access to side streets and driveways will be maintained to the extent possible; however, as work crosses side streets/driveways, there will be brief restrictions.
• Following this work, crews will reapply striping.
