I will send another update later today with more information on conference calls I had today with Senators Menendez and Booker, as well as the Governor’s staff, and the County Executive.

Most of the requirements that are delineated in the Governor’s Executive Order are reflective of guidelines with which we have been imploring our residents to abide; I fully support the Governor’s decision to make these requirements (rather than suggestions), as the only way to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic is if EVERYONE in Leonia practices proper social distancing and sanitary protocols.

I know that this will cause lots of questions; you should feel free to email me if you’d like, and I am hoping to reschedule our town-wide conference call for tomorrow (Sunday) evening.

Thanks in advance to all Leonians for your anticipated full and consistent cooperation with all of the requirements we’ve previously described, and which are provided above.

Best wishes to everyone for continued health and safety; with the collective effort of all Leonians, we will emerge from this, stronger than ever.
