County of Marin Park Closures Does Not Affect Fairfax

The Marin County Public Health Officer issued an order yesterday (3/22/2020) that All Marin County parks are closed amid the COVID-19 Spread. This was reported by news outlets. Later this order was clarified to state:
“This closure and Order refers to motorized access to and from our parks and open spaces. We still encourage residents to walk or bike to a park or trail near their home”
This order does not affect our Parks here in Fairfax for our residents. Although the Town has advised us that the Peri Park children playground will be closed to protect children from potential exposure through playground equipment or toys. Remember to practice social distancing
