The City of Watervliet would like to remind residents to comply with the Governor's Executive Order to "put NYS on pause". This includes prohibitions on:
- All non-essential businesses
- Non-essential gatherings of any size for any reason (e.g. parties, celebrations, etc)
- Any concentrations of individuals outside their house with the exception of workers providing essential services
As such, the City of Watervliet has closed all city parks and recreational facilities until further notice.
Residents are reminded to:
- Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet
- Limit use of public transportation to when absolutely necessary
- Stay home if you are sick unless to receive medical care
