* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northeast Georgia and western North Carolina, including the following areas, in northeast Georgia, Habersham and Rabun. In western North Carolina, Graham, Macon, and Swain.
* from 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Wednesday morning
* Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected to move through the area this afternoon ahead of a cold front. Additional rainfall of 2-3" is expected, with the watch area having received up to 2" in the last 24 hours.
* Rapid rises above bankfull on streams and creeks may occur, along with the threat of flooded roadways in embedded thunderstorms or pockets of higher rainfall rates.
* AFFECTED AREAS: HABERSHAM ... GRAHAM ... MACON ... SWAIN ... RABUN
