Freddie Chavez of Indio was arrested in a stolen vehicle and also booked for a felony arrest warrant

LOCATION: Oak Glen Rd. / Calimesa Blvd., Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Freddie Chavez, 27 years old, resident of Indio
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 12:31 p.m. deputies received a report of a stolen vehicle entering Yucaipa on Oak Glen Rd. A deputy spotted the vehicle approximately two minutes later and a felony car stop was initiated near 5th south of Oak Glen. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody without incident.
The driver, Freddie Chavez, was wanted on a felony warrant for violating the terms of his conditional release. He was arrested on that warrant and for possessing the stolen car, which was stolen in Bermuda Dunes on March 16, 2020.
