On March 17, 2020, the Santa Clara County Health Officer ordered a “shelter-in-place” to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This Health Order remains in effect and the Milpitas Police Department is proactively contacting individuals, groups, and/or businesses we encounter that may be violating this Order. During these contacts, our primary goal is to gain compliance, however, we will take enforcement action against those that repeatedly or willfully violate the order, if needed.
We all need to do our part to help protect one another, especially the vulnerable members of our community.
