March 25, 2020 Knowlton Township Coronavirus Update
Today Warren County is reporting a total of 29 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the county. Two of those 29 are persons who have recovered from the virus. Knowlton Township still has no cases.
All area mayors are in daily communication with the Warren County Health Department, County officials and Freeholders, receiving the latest updates and information. One piece of new information from the state is that second quarter homestead benefit adjusted property tax bills will not be mailed to taxpayers. This is a result of the huge decrease in revenue to the State because of COVID-19.
Many Knowlton residents have asked how they can help their neighbors in the current pandemic. Several local foodbanks are running low on stores, and the closest one to Knowlton, located at the United Methodist Church at 509 Route 94, is asking for help. They are currently feeding approximately 20 families and are in need of the following non-perishable food items:
- pasta
- macaroni & cheese
- canned vegetables
- canned fruit
- snack packs for children
- juice
- any other donation
Thank you in advance for giving our neighbors a hand during this difficult time. Be well.
