While COVID-19 is changing the way we live and work, the Meadowlands YMCA remains committed to serving as a resource and advocate for our community. Many of our neighbors in need are already feeling the economic impact of the crisis, while others find themselves struggling, perhaps for the first time. Shelter in place restrictions have made it difficult for families and individuals in our area to keep their pantries full. In light of this, we have partnered with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey to distribute Emergency Food Boxes.
 
 Emergency Food Box Distribution
 
Our Emergency Food Boxes will be distributed at a grab-and-go drive thru line at the Meadowlands YMCA. Each box supplies approximately 40 meals and includes nonperishable proteins, vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, and snack items. 
 
Cars will line up to receive a box that will be placed in your car by YMCA staff and volunteers. To comply with social distancing guidelines, you will not be allowed to get out of your car so please make room for the box before arriving. 
 
Emergency Food Box Distribution is for ALL in our community who have been impacted. Please share this with anyone you know who has been affected by the crisis and is in need of food.
