Message from Sheriff Chris Malphrus: Jasper County residents and guests; I wanted to say thank you to all of you who are trying so hard to maintain a physical distance and using best health practices during these uncertain times. We will continue to follow the lawful mandates issued by Governor McMaster. During these times, I want to encourage you to continue being steadfast and calm. These are tough days that cause fear and unrest and my staff and I will help with whatever we can. We have and will continue to support our local businesses and residents and if there is any way we can help you, we will. Pray for your Jasper County law enforcement and rescue workers as much as you think of us. The women and men at the Sheriff's Office have worked so hard through the years to make our Jasper County better and more safe and we will continue to work hard for you through this outbreak and beyond. I am grateful for your trust to lead and pray for our Jasper County every day. Thank you for encouraging your Sheriff's Deputies, Police Officers, Communications' Officers, Fire and EMS Officers and Coroner's Staff.
