State of Illinois to issue a statewide EAS alert today regarding COVID-19 situation. 
The Channahon Police Dept. has learned the State of Illinois will issue a statewide Emergency Alert System (EAS) alert today regarding the COVID-19 situation.
The message will be a request for people with medical skills to volunteer to assist during the COVID-19 event. This message is tentatively going to be issued at 3:00 PM CDT.
