Residents, during these difficult times, the Ridgefield Police Department will remain as accessible and responsive as possible. If you have an issue, a complaint, or any other non-emergent business that you need to report, you can contact the Ridgefield Police Department by emailing the following address, [email protected].  Please include the pertinent information, your legal name, address and a accessible contact phone number.  A member of the Police Department will contact you as soon as possible, confirm identities, document the event, investigate the issue and follow up if necessary.  During this problematic period, please refrain from reporting non-emergent traffic issues than can be addressed at a later date.  As always, if you wish to report a serious matter, please contact the Police Department at 201-943-5210 or if appropriate, dial 911.  The members of the Ridgefield Police Department and the EMS services will vigilantly continue to respond to calls and patrol the community.  We all eagerly look forward to the end of these unique and challenging time when we can safely return to face-to-face communication.  As a reminder, please practice all CDC suggestions such as hand washing and social distancing.  Thank you for your understanding, Chief Thomas Gallagher
