* At 617 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Risco, or 7 miles northwest of Portageville, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Marston around 625 PM CDT. New Madrid, Lilbourn, Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site and Howardville around 630 PM CDT. Farrenburg around 635 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Tallapoosa, Catron and North Lilbourn. This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 32 and 57.
