Full Notification

Mercer County has reported, for April 1, 2020, there are to date a total of 333 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Mercer County, and there are now 3 Deaths in Mercer County (none East Windsor related).  All active cases are either at home self-isolating or admitted to the hospital.  The State of New Jersey has reported an increase of 3,649 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases for a current total of 22,255 New Jersey Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, and an additional 91 New Jersey deaths for a total of 355 New Jersey COVID-19 related deaths.

The statewide process followed locally whenever the East Windsor Health Department receives notification of a confirmed positive COVID-19 individual is as follows:  Township health officials initiate an investigation by personally contacting that individual to identify recent close contacts with the person. These "close contacts" are then personally notified and informed to take measures to reduce risk, specificlly to self-quarantine for 14 days following exposure and to self-monitor for symptoms.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP UPDATES:

All non-essential Township advisory Board and Committee meetings have been CANCELLED through April 20. 

STATE OF NEW JERSEY UPDATES:

New Jersey State Income Tax filing deadline and the Corporation Business Tax filing deadline have been extended from April 15 to July 15, 2020.
