Solano Public Health: Shelter at Home Order extended & Recommends Cloth Face Coverings

English
Solano County Public Health officials have extended the County's shelter at home health order and directive until April 30, 2020, to continue directing individuals to stay at home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care and to engage in essential activities and work.  The County’s health order extension is in line with the Governor’s orders and works to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in the community.

Solano Public Health is recommending residents to cover their nose and mouth with cloth when leaving home for essential travel such as to doctor appointments, grocery shopping or pharmacy visits, this does not replace social distancing recommendations. Maintaining 6-feet of physical distance and frequently hand washing remain the most important ways to slowing the spread of the virus.
