Edith Bass was found safe and will be reunited with her family.
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 11:00 p.m., a family member reported Edith Bass missing. Edith suffers from Alzheimer's disease. She was last seen in the 7500 block if Sweet Meadow Court in Highland. Deputies responded to the location and immediately began an investigation into Bass' whereabouts. The Highland Police Station conducted an extensive search, utilizing patrol deputies, Sheriff's Aviation and a tracking K-9 but were unsuccessful in locating her.
The Highland Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Bass. She is described as a black female adult, 6'0" tall, and weighs 220 lbs. She was last seen wearing a long brown dress, brown shoes, and a blue hat with a black net attached. The K-9 tracked Bass’ scent to the area of Base Line Street and Palm Avenue in Highland.
