Agenda/Log-in Online for April 7 Council Meeting
In order to follow the guidelines of Contra Costa Health Services Stay at Home order, the Danville Town Council will hold their April 7 meeting as a teleconference using the Zoom app. The meeting is set for 5:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting, as well as the information to log in via Zoom are available at www.danville.ca.gov/agendas.
County Website Now has City by City Statistics
We have received many questions from residents regarding how many cases of coronavirus were known to be in Danville. In order to provide that information, Contra Costa Health Services has upgraded their website dashboard to provide a city by city breakdown. Residents can find the dashboard at www.coronavirus.cchealth.org. As of April 6, 2020, the Town of Danville has 19 reported cases of COVID-19.
Permit FAQs Updated on Danville Website
Another area where we receive a large number of questions is in what construction and permitting is still being allowed under the expanded shelter order. The Town’s Building Division has worked to update the FAQs related to this question and they are available now on the Town’s website www.danville.ca.gov/permitcenter .
Information on Home-made Masks
With the recent recommendation that residents should wear masks when going out into public as a means of limiting COVID-19 transmission, many are wondering how to make their own masks and keep them clean and sterile. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have put together good information on homemade face coverings, how to make them, and how to keep them sterile. Their page is https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html?deliveryName=USCDC_2067-DM25135
