*** MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR ***

Dear Neighbors and Friends:

As we continue to shelter in Place and band together to beat this Covid-19 virus, I want to share a few items with you and keep you up to date with issues here in Far Hills.

I want to thank all our residents for being vigilant and working together during these trying times. As of this past weekend we have had only 1 confirmed case of the virus here in the Borough. I ask that you continue to follow all of the State and Federal regulations as prescribed to the end of April. Hopefully, beyond that things can begin to return to a more normal lifestyle.
These times have been particularly trying for small Business. The County through the County Small Business Partnership, telephone number (908-218-4300) is offering guidance to those who may need such assistance. In addition, at the State level, the New Jersey EDA is processing Small Business loans and this program will begin on April 13th for those interested.

For those so inclined, Blood Donations are in very short supply in our State and if you can donate blood contact the VNA or the Red Cross. Also, even here in Far Hills, there are those find themselves in need of food donations. Please be as generous as you can with any Charities or Churches of your chosing to help those in need during this difficult time.

Discussions continue on a shared Covid-19 testing site, word is that Raritan Community College is the site that will be chosen although this is a work in progress at this writing.
The municipal Building remains closed to the Public, however I and Council President Karner, Councilman Carty , our CFO Debi Stern have been working on our 2020 Budget and will
plan on introducing the budget in the coming weeks, I will keep you informed here as well.

Again , I want to thank our Police, Fire and First responders' for selflessly doing what they do best for the benefit of all residents here in Far Hills.

As I and our Borough Clerk continue to speak with the County and State Authorities almost daily, I will keep you up to date on any important announcements or changes that occur.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy and together we will beat this Covid-19 Virus.

Thank you
