April 7, 2020 Knowlton Township Coronavirus Update
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Warren County is at 281 today, with 16 persons recovered. 7 cases are in Knowlton Township.
From the State today:
Citing the failure to observe social-distancing guidelines, Governor Murphy announced that all new New Jersey state and county parks are now closed. In Knowlton, this does apply to the Paulinskill Trail.
The Governor also issued Executive Order 119, extending the public-health emergency in New Jersey by 30 days, which extends it to early May. The state of emergency gives certain executive powers and allows the state to receive federal aid.
Governor Murphy also applied for the federal waiver to cancel all student standardized testing for April. The test cancellation will depend on U.S. Department of Education approval, which is expected.
