* At 1129 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Grafton, or 7 miles northwest of Medina, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include... Medina, Strongsville, Brunswick, Wadsworth, Grafton, Rittman, Creston, Chippewa Lake, Hinckley, Seville, Lagrange, Westfield Center, Gloria Glens Park, Chippewa-On-The-Lake, Valley City, Eaton Estates and Briarwood Beach.
