In light of the Governor's extension of the stay at home order, the City of Grosse Pointe will continue the precautions it has put in place to protect our City’s residents and staff in an attempt to the slow the transmission of this virus. City Hall and Neff Park Office will remain closed to the public.

In addition, the City has reduced staffing to only the personnel needed to conduct essential services. The intent is to operate with as few people as needed to reduce the risk of the virus in accordance with Governor Whitmer's orders. Services that have been halted continue to be:

* Yard waste pickup (please mulch grass or store yardwaste in bins in your backyard or bags in your garage)
* Transient customer parking collections and enforcement
* Recreational programming
* Residential inspections
* In-home replacement or repair of water meters
* Building inspections with the exception of life safety or critical infrastructure building inspections with the proper precautions
* Interior residential police reports
* Certain Municipal Court activities
* Elworthy Playground, Pavilion and Tennis Courts
* Neff Park Playground, Pavilion, Bathrooms, and Marina
* Reading and mailing of water bills (delayed by one month)

Critical services such as police, fire, emergency dispatch, water service, garbage/recycling collection, and emergency public works activities are not be impacted. To make a payment, you may pay online for many services, use the U.S. mail, drop a payment into silver drop box in front of City Hall.
