Walnut/Diamond Bar Station personnel are continuing a tradition of “10-Minute Tactical” in-service training. 
This week’s early morning shift “10 Minute Tactical Training” had deputies listen to a trainee give a presentation (briefing). At the conclusion of the presentation, which was designed as a distraction, the table in front of the trainee was covered up. There were several mundane items sitting on the table. Individual field deputies were asked to describe, in detail, what they thought was on the table before it was covered up. This quick drill was designed to create observation skills.
