* Until 700 AM EDT.

* At 632 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles north of Siler City, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Hillsborough around 655 AM EDT. Durham around 700 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Efland, Snow Camp, Eno River State Park, Sutphin and Cane Creek Reservoir.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ORANGE, NC ... ALAMANCE, NC ... DURHAM, NC
