Police searching for Murder suspect 
On Wednesday April 15, 2020, Rosenberg Officers responded to a physical disturbance and found that a woman was attacked by her estranged husband. Tragically she later succumbed to her injuries. Witnesses advised that the suspect, Tomas Maldonado, DOB: 03-07-1970, fled the scene in a red 2016 Chevrolet 2500 truck with paper license plate (66503A8). Law enforcement officials are now searching for the suspect and are encouraging anyone with information regarding his destination or location to step forward.
The incident occurred in the 800 block of San Jacinto Street at approximately 10:00PM on Wednesday April 15, 2020. It is believed that Tomas Maldonado made threats in days preceding the attack and has made similar threats against other family members recently as well. Maldonado should be considered extremely dangerous.
“Our community has suffered a tragic loss, the victim and family are in our thoughts and prayers. We are working diligently to make sure that Tomas Maldonado is found and is provided an opportunity to answer for what he has done.” said Chief White.
