Due to staffing issues at Recycling Processing centers related to COVID-19, Butler is required to go back to alternating weeks and seperating our recycling materials.  Going forward bottles, plastic and cans will be picked up on alternating weeks and paper and cardboard will be picked up on the opposite weeks.  PLEASE follow these rules or your recycling will not be picked up by our hauler.  For the updated schedule go to www.butlerborough.com and read the new schedule under news and announcements or go to the link: http://www.butlerborough.com/Documents/RecyclingMailer2020RevisedCovid19.pdf.  Also yard waste will likely take more than one day for pickup each week due to staffing issues at our hauler.  Please continue to have your yard waste out for Monday but understand that some weeks it may take a few days before it is picked up.  There is no need to call Borough Hall to report your yard waste was not picked up on a Monday.  Our hauler will continue to come into town each week until the yard waste is fully collected.  Thanks for your understanding and help spread the word if you can.
