During a traffic stop deputies arrested Glenn Beaty for a probation violation, poss of narcotics & stolen property

Possession of Methamphetamine and Stolen Property
LOCATION: Yucaipa Blvd / 10th Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Glenn Beaty, 58-year-old resident of Yucaipa
Patricia Champion, 52-year-old resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On April 16, 2020, deputies contacted Glenn Beaty and Patricia Champion during a traffic stop. Beaty is on felony probation and has been absconding. Today, Beaty was found in possession of 4.3 grams of methamphetamine, syringes and a stolen leaf blower belonging to Yucaipa Joint Unified School District. He was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center on charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing stolen property and probation violation. He is being held without bail. Beaty was driving with a suspended license and his vehicle was impounded.
Patricia Champion was found to be in possession of 1.1 grams of methamphetamine, a meth pipe and syringes. She was arrested for a misdemeanor charges and cite-released at the scene.
