MESSAGE FROM MAYOR JANICE MIRONOV

To our blessed dedicated first responders protecting us -- our police, our rescue squad and fire company volunteers. We couldn't do it without you!

To our many East Windsor Residents who have stepped up and made contributions of supplies and equipment to our Township to support our First Responders and those who have in so many other ways reached out to help residents in need during this time of unprecedented challenge. Resident support of our local businesses as possible is appreciated. This all shows the great community that East Windsor Township is, a strong caring community with a heart.

To resident Gloria Hansen, a special shout-out, she has pioneered www.SewToStop.org  face masks against the spread of COVID-19, "connecting people who sew with people in need", enlisting individuals from throughout the region and even has gone nationwide to sew and distribute masks.

To our many supportive East Windsor Businesses who have generously contributed key supplies and equipment for Township personnel and First Responders, including: Aurobindo Pharma, Coastal Insulation, Dunkin Donuts, Elementis, Home Depot, Hovione, Hunan House, Moe's Southwest Grill, Novitium Pharma, Shiseido, Windsor Nissan. Shout outs also to Dr. Sanjay Gupta, as well as the Princeton Alliance Church.

To BAPS which has reached out to lend a helping hand and is delivering prepared meals to our police and first responders, and providing other important community food support.

To Greenhill Pharmacy in East Windsor who has partnered with the Township of East Windsor and the Township of Robbinsville to provide hand sanitizer to any and all residents at no charge. Greenhill Pharmacy has compounded batches of hand sanitizer solution to provide to residents. To obtain hand sanitizer, fill out this google form

We appreciate the generosity and caring of so many Township businesses and residents who have come forward with donations and to volunteer to help out others. Keep strong and be hopeful, knowing that together we will move through these painful and challenging times.


MERCER COUNTY UPDATE:

Mercer County has reported, as of April 17, 2020, there have been a total of 2,123 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases to date, and 101 deaths in Mercer County. All active cases are either at home self-isolating or admitted to the hospital. The State of New Jersey today reported 3,150 additional Confirmed COVID-19 Cases for a current total of 78,467 cases, and 322 additional deaths for a total of 3,840 COVID-19 related deaths statewide.
