Dear residents:
Cleaning and jetting services continued today and the sewer lines appear to be in sufficient condition. However, the lines have a hesitant flow. In order to confirm that there is no major problem and/or collapse, a TV camera truck will be on site on Monday. In an abundance of caution, the temporary bypass pump at the end of Maple Avenue to Chestnut Avenue will be active over the weekend. The Village has confirmed amendments to the necessary New York State DOT permits for road closures on the Hutchinson River Parkway on Monday morning. Hopefully, another day of cleaning and jetting the lines will resolve this problem.
