The Sheboygan Police Department is investigating a serious motor vehicle crash involving two motor vehicles, a sport utility vehicle and a passenger car.
 
The crash happened on 04/18/20 at 10:53 p.m. in the area of Erie Ave and N 10^th St.  A preliminary investigation found that there was a sport utility vehicle, driven by a 40 year old Sheboygan male, westbound on Erie Ave at N 10^th St. The SUV was stopped at the red light on Erie Ave at N 10^th St. While stopped for the red light, the SUV was struck by a passenger car, driven by a 16 year old male from Kohler. Both drivers were treated on scene by Sheboygan Police Officers and Sheboygan Fire Department EMS and later transported to hospitals out of Sheboygan for treatment of serious injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Sheboygan Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
