Meridian Police Investigate Single Vehicle Crash
 
On April 19, 2020 at approximately 12:18 AM, Meridian officers responded to a single vehicle crash on the 700 block of E. Gannett Drive. Upon arrival twenty-seven (27) year old Kayla B WELCH, of Meridian, was found to be the driver of the dodge pickup truck that collided with two parked vehicles, an Idaho Power utility box, and ultimately into a garage of the victim’s residence. No one was injured on scene. WELCH failed standardized field sobriety tests and was evaluated by a Meridian Police Drug Recognition Expert. WELCH was transported to a local hospital where she was evaluated and consented to a blood draw.
